PARROTS IN THE RAINFOREST
The Pittsburgh affiliate of PEAC will be at Phipps Conservatory on Saturday May 5, 2012, from 1:30 to 2:30 PM. This is a great way to do something different for Cinco De Mayo. There are many kinds of parrots in Mexico and there will be some here, in Pittsburgh, as well as representatives of PEAC, who can let you find out about parrot keeping classes and adoption and fostering opportunities.
There is no additional cost, beyond normal admission to Phipps Conservatory, for this informal event. If you are a member of Phipps Conservatory, this would be absolutely free.
You can find out about the benefits of joining the Pittsburgh affiliate of Parrot Education & Adoption Center, as well. One of the benefits of this membership is either free or discounted admission to a variety of classes and other events about parrots and bird keeping, throughout the year.
