Since 1980, Pampered Chef has been making cooking simple, easy, and fun.

This party is free to attend and there is no obligation to purchase anything.  Come see the demonstrations and sample the recipes.

Pampered Chef products are wonderful for personal cooking and also make impressive gifts.

WHOM DO YOU KNOW:  WHO IS GETTING MARRIED, HAVING AN ANNIVERSARY, GRADUATING, SETTING UP A HOUSEHOLD, RETIRING, STARTING A NEW JOB, MOVING, …..?

Please tell them about this, or better yet, bring them!

You don’t need to be interested in birds to come to this event and find it interesting.  It’s about cooking and eating, to help the parrots!

Proceeds will benefit the homeless birds in our adoption program and our educational activities.

Once you are in Braddock, follow street signs to the Historic, Braddock Carnegie Library, then turn right onto Bell Street (the corner with the elegant funeral home on it).  Enter through the door that is away from the garage doors and does not have the fire department logo on it.  There is plenty of free, parking on the street.

We will be announcing our June classes soon.

They’re all different kinds of birds, that are commonly called, “parrots”.  There is great variety within the kinds of birds that are called, “parrots” and the different species have different feeding, housing, and other environmental needs.

Though each and every bird is an individual, with their own preferences and temperment, different species tend to have characteristics typical of what they are, before they show their individuality, by who they are.

What kind of parrot, if any, is right for you?

The Pittsburgh affiliate of Parrot Education & Education Center is presenting a class on this, Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the Brentwood Library at12:30 PM. 

It is expected that this event will take about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

THIS CLASS IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. PLEASE JOIN US.

Volunteers of PEAC will be present to discuss the activities of the organization, volunteer and bird fostering opportunities, birds in the adoption program, and the adoption process.

This class qualifies as one of the requirements to foster a bird for, or adopt a bird from PEAC.

$5.00 to non-members

MEMBERSHIP: Membership in PEAC is inexpensive. A single membership is only $20.00 for a year. A family membership is only $30.00 for a year. A benefit of membership is free or discounted admission to a variety of classes and events throughout the year. If you join PEAC at this class, your admission will be free.

PEAC is approved by the IRS as a not-for-profit, public charity, under section 501(c)3 of the tax code and is staffed entirely by volunteers.

Representatives of PEAC will be available to discuss the activities of the organization, as well as the volunteer, bird fostering, and adoption programs.

This class qualifies as one of the requirements to foster a bird for, or adopt a bird from, PEAC.

John is well known for his shows with his birds.  Perhaps he’ll sing about his favorite kind of animal, “out of all the animals in the world” !!
