Since birds are the only creatures with feathers, flight and feathers have fascinated humans for thousands of years. However, it is those very things that fascinate us that also frustrate us, since it brings us squarely to the point of making a decision. Do I clip this bird’s wings or not? Feathers are also the source of many complications in captivity, from feather picking to proper bathing and diets. Let’s talk about those feathers!
